The Mantona TBH 3. VIII is the ideal ball head even for very heavy photo equipment. Due to its solid construction, it offers a maximum load of 25 kg. This makes it ideal for use with long exposures and in landscape, animal and architectural photography. This tripod head also holds heavy cameras, spotting scopes, binoculars and telephoto lenses exactly in the desired position. Thanks to the large control knobs including friction control, it also offers very comfortable handling.

High load capacity due to solid construction
The high load capacity of the Mantona TBH 3. VIII results from its well thought-out construction and the generous dimensioning of all components. The ball head is 120 mm high and the tripod head housing has a diameter of 65 mm. The built-in ball has a diameter of 50 mm and, together with the other components, ensures the high load capacity of 25 kg. Due to the very voluminous design of all relevant components, the ball head works very precisely and ensures smooth and even movements.

Millimetre-precise control through professional controls
The TBH 3. VIII has a total of 3 rotary locks for ball head control. One very large control knob is responsible for the main lock, another for the friction, i.e. the resistance, of the ball. A third knob is responsible for controlling and locking the panorama function. In combination with the built-in panorama scale, very smooth and controlled panoramic pans can thus be realised even with heavy equipment.

Easy mounting on all tripods
Thanks to the 3/8 inch thread at the bottom of the tripod head, the ball head can be attached to almost any tripod. With the 3/8 to 1/4 inch thread adapter already included in the scope of delivery, the head can of course also be mounted on 1/4 inch connections.

Large quick-release plate
Even very large and heavy equipment finds a secure hold on the large-dimensioned quick-release plate with the dimensions 75 x 54 x 12 mm. This plate can be easily and quickly released by the drop safety button and is permanently and very securely locked by the large locking button. On the quick-release plate, you can attach e.g. your camera to the 1/4 inch thread connection. The D-ring on the back of this screw makes mounting easy and tool-free.

Ideally suited for heavy and also light accessories
Even heavy full-frame or DSLR SLR cameras can be mounted on this ball head without any problems. This very large ball head also holds large binoculars, spotting scopes and telephoto lenses securely in the desired position. Of course, it also works very well with lighter DSLM system cameras, digital and medium format cameras.
