Product information "AGM Voyage LRF TB50-640 Thermal/Night Vision Fusion Monocular with Laser Rangefinder"

A high-end fusion camera, the AGM Voyage LRF TB50-640 features a 640x512 detector (12µm), a 50mm objective lens and a laser rangefinder. Fusion combines thermal imaging with digital night vision, adding a new dimension to thermal imaging by U.S.-based AGM Global Vision. With this viewer, you will see beyond the limits of nature and benefit from a viewing distance of up to 2.6 kilometers. Among other features, the camera has a Dutch operating menu and is very accessible to use.

What exactly is image fusion?

"Image fusion" incorporates the latest technology and provides a mix of thermal image and black and white optical night vision image. While the surroundings in visible image are rendered in unprecedented clarity, the hottest objects in image are instantly visible by their heat source. For example, you can view the trees in the forest with full detail, while the outline of a human/animal is highlighted in a striking color.

Fusion, thermal imaging, night vision and optical imaging

The AGM Voyage LRF is a true 4-in-1 camera. Because in addition to image fusion, you can also disable either function. For example, you can use only thermal imaging to easily detect people or animals without being distracted by the rest of the environment. In the main menu, you then select the function "detection" instead of "jungle." You can choose from four color palettes: black hot, white hot, red hot and full-color. On the contrary, if you want to see the environment only in visible image, you can also choose to use only night vision. You can use this feature in all situations where there is some form of residual light. Think starlight, a clear sky or lampposts that are at a distance. Finally, you can use the AGM Fuzion LRF as a digital camera during the day.

Features of the viewer

The AGM TB50-640 LRF has a 50mm lens. It features a 3.5x basic magnification with 16x digital zoom. The large FOV of 5,9 x 4,7 degrees allows you to see much of the surroundings. The image is projected in real-time (50 FPS) onto a razor-sharp 0.39" OLED display with a 1024x768 resolution. You can adjust its brightness and contrast. Using the manual focus, you can always focus the environment to your preference. The camera features the latest 12 micron, 640x512 thermal sensor with a refresh rate of 25 Hz. This AGM sensor features an industry-leading sensitivity rating of less than 20 mK (millikelvin). This allows human heat signatures up to 2,600m to be detected.

Everything you see can be captured in photos and videos. These are stored on the internal 64GB memory. You can also connect the viewer to Wi-fi. This allows you to watch along live via your smartphone/tablet, control the camera remotely and make remote recordings. You can do this, for example, with the free AG app, which is available for both Android and iOS.

Specifications of the laser

Using the built-in laser rangefinder, you can measure distances to animals, people and objects. The distance to the target you are focusing on is shown on the display. The laser beam has a range of up to 600m and an accuracy of about 1m. The laser has a wavelength of 905nm, is classified in Laser Safety Class 1 and is therefore eye-safe. This is the highest safety class, but even so, it is still not recommended to look into the source or beam.

Physical Features.

On the right side of the housing is a comfortable, leather hand strap. This allows you to hold the viewer securely at all times. Power is supplied by three 18650 batteries (six rechargeable batteries and a charger are included as standard). This provides as much as eight hours of use, which you can extend by using the standby mode. You can also connect an external power source such as a power bank or continuous feed. The camera is easy to carry thanks to its light weight and compact size. Due to its IP67 certification, it also performs optimally in harsh weather conditions and challenging environments.

Application AGM Voyage LRF TB50-640

The T50-640 LRF is the top-of-the-line model from the AGM binocular Fusion series. Thus, the scope offers you the maximum in terms of brightness, quality, viewing distance and field of view, and you can take advantage of the laser rangefinder. The dual-camera can quickly detect hidden people and animals even under extreme conditions such as complete darkness, fog, rain, snow, etc. Because the scope features a rangefinder, the Voyage is extremely suitable for use during hunting, security, tactical applications and nature observations. Through a combination of thermal imaging and night vision, you will see the environment more realistically and therefore easier to understand. Thus, you can see much more detail and much better depth compared to a traditional thermal imaging camera. This viewer can be used by the professional as well as the discerning enthusiast.
