The BY-M1LV-D from Boya is a compact, wireless microphone set. Cables and batteries are not required during recordings, making the BY-M1LV-D quickly ready for use. The transmitter with built-in microphone of the BY-M1LV-D clamps onto the clothing of the person you want to capture. In addition, the built-in battery provides power for up to six hours. The sound is recorded by your iPhone or iPad. To do this, you plug the receiver into the Lightning port of your Apple device. The BY-M1LV-D is ready to use immediately with both audio and video apps. So you can simply use the standard iOS/iPadOS app to start a video recording, which is automatically provided with the sound of your BY-M1LV-D.
BY-M1LV-D in practice
In the open field, the transmitter and receiver of the BY-M1LV-D have a range of up to 100 meters. Despite its compact size, you can count on a stable connection thanks to the reliable 2.4GHz frequency. In buildings or other places with many wireless signals, the range is still more than sufficient. You can connect headphones or earbuds to the transmitter if desired. Almost all headphones with 3.5 mm port are suitable (TRS and TRRS). This allows you to monitor the sound recording and, for example, adjust the gain. Three gain steps are available, to adjust the sensitivity of the microphone. The BY-M1LV-D is MFi certified and therefore 100% compatible with iPhone and iPad, thanks to the built-in Apple chip. The mute button allows the person wearing the microphone to mute the sound.

With the indicator light on both the transmitter and receiver, you can see the current status at a glance. When recording outdoors, use the supplied windscreen to minimize wind noise. In the supplied leather case you can safely take the complete set with you when making recordings.
