The Explorer Cases 5140.B.6U is a fully waterproof trolley case with an aluminum Rack Frame for 19" equipment. 19 Inch is a standardized width dimension for certain electronic equipment (see heading 'Application'). You can safely mount these devices in the rack using the 'slots' on both sides of the rack. The interior dimensions of the case are 51.6 x 29.6 x 40.2 cm; the exterior dimensions are 58.1 x 38.1 x 45.5 cm.
In addition to an aluminum frame, the case has wheels on the bottom and also two handles: one on the top (which is retractable) and one on the side. This means you can use the case vertically as a trolley, but you can also carry it horizontally (in that case not in combination with wheels).
The case is indestructible, 100% waterproof and provides full protection for all your valuable belongings. Because of the "Rack Frame" this trolley case is especially useful for transporting and mounting electronic 19" equipment. Think of video and audio equipment, but also telecommunications and network equipment often have the standard 19" dimensions. Because you can remove the frame from the case completely, you can also use the case for any other application. With the help of the wheels and the ergonomic (folding) handle, you can safely take the case and its contents anywhere.
